Mom was right..

He said that we will work it out,

Well he did- he worked his way out,

He said he will go that extra step for his lady,

Well he did- he took the extra step out,

Like bubbles, the relationship reached its peak and then fizzled out,

My mom says, ‘Don’t believe the words, as actions speak louder than words,

As usual she is right; lesson learnt once again…
